I'm about to ruffle some feathers. Oh well I was referred here. By another specialist I see. Moving forward I was scheduled yesterday. I arrived early just to. Have a "mini" disagreement with. One of the front desk staff. About labs that I wasn't. Properly given paperwork for. I'm not a doggone mind reader. So after my appointment for yesterday was cancelled. This clinic is just plain awful. The staff lack compassion. Avoid it if you have other choice. Last year I was unfortunately referred to at this location, waited a month and a half for a confirmed appointment. The day before my appointment they called me and told me that I, the patient, will have to go to my PCP to get my medical records before I show up the next day because they haven't received them yet, or I won't get to see the doctor. After driving 3 hours for my appointment, I got a text message that the PA could not help me. I went there and waited, to be told I heard my GP gave me the wrong information and he said, “if I hurt that bad, go to the emergency room, and they might help me”. And then he said “don’t tell anyone I told you that”. Four weeks later, he did refer me to a urologist. Two scans show I have a softball size cyst in my abdominal area.
Dr. Roopa has been my Doctor for 10 years and I will miss her terribly. I know her professional and helpful staff will take care of me until I can see a Doctor here in Tucson. Thank you for everything Dr. Roopa!
