Catherine and all the staff were friendly. The Desert Inn is easily accessible from the highway and downtown Tucumcari is a short distance away.

Catherine was sweet, kind and helpful. This was a last minute decision to stop for the night and stay. Pleased with how rooms were cleaned. Down fall, fridge wasn't turned on and already cold, but that was a minor inconvenience. Over all, nice place to stay.

I stayed here last night, the beginning of a long cross country trip. Catherine was very welcoming and helpful, as was all the staff. My room was clean and very quiet. I took advantage of their pool-- which I happened to have all to myself at dinnertime--and swam laps to loosen up after 500 miles of driving. It was fun chatting with other travelers in the morning at the free breakfast. Altogether, a great experience at a great price!

Catherine and Sylvester checked us in and we’re awesome. Great service and wonderful personalities. Great location off the highway but not to close so no noise issues. McDonald’s next door for my morning coffee.

The Desert Inn is truly an oasis to find. Well priced, clean and great for traveling with kids. My son loved the pool and I enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the road. Our check in went smoothly. We got to the room there was only two sets of towels - the desk clerk Catherine was more than happy to help get me some extra towels and very friendly. Definitely recommend to stay here!
