Just opened a checking account, moved 15k into it and wasn’t surprised there was a hold on the check. I was surprised how long (over a week) and no portion was made immediately available as other banks usually do (up to around $400/$500. I called and their representative asked the manager if they could release a small portion and they denied my request. I thought this was the reason people used credit unions. They have just been a great bank, I've never had any issues with them and if I needed to ever dispute a charge, they were on it right away.
So pleased to become a member of this great credit union! First visit the staff was so helpful and kind. No attitude like I got at “the big bank” (that I have been with for almost 30 years which rhymes with “Base”) when I brought my wrapped coins in. The ladies behind the counter were interested in why I had the coins and made me and my wife feel appreciated as customers. 6 Stars if I could!
