good ideas and friendly enough but promised us a design and missed a couple of appts. got defensive when we asked about an open ROC issue then ghosted us. We moved on

The company as a whole likes to beat on a guy for no reason. 2 against 1. Seen it first hand and I don't think that's right. To have guys like that working for you. Coming over to your place and if you don't like it. You might end up getting beat up by 2 guys at once. Shouldn't be in business having guys work for you with that mentality.
We hired Josh to help design our backyard. It was a major job with hard scape and landscaping. His crew is excellent and we were happy with the end result. However, Josh is very unresponsive when you reach out to him. For days, he didn’t respond when we reached out to him. Some days his crew showed up and some days they did not. All we asked was that he communicate with us so we would know when to expect his crew. The end result was very nice but Josh rarely responds to follow up emails. We contracted a large job with Desert Designs Landscape in February 2021 and terminated the contract for material breach in September 2021. The reasons for termination are many, including poor work quality, failure to complete punchlist items and damage to our property. BUT, most egregiously, Mr. McPheron (owner) called us in April 2021 asking for almost $8K for materials for a future phase of work.
