Would not recommend staying here at all. We stayed in an underground room for one night. Check in took 30 minutes, mainly due to the staff member continuing to serve other people before me despite me standing right there. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn’t just serving them because they are men and I’m a woman but honestly at this point not sure! Our stay at Desert Cave Hotel was extremely disappointing and, at times, genuinely concerning. From the outset, the service was unacceptable, check-in took over 30 minutes, and staff displayed discriminatory behaviour toward women, which was both unprofessional and uncomfortable. The room itself was in poor condition. There was visible mould in the shower, which was also wet upon arrival as if it had just been used.
