I've been trying to cancel for 90 days, i've sent every thin requested and no response. I Have 3 email address' an not one will log me in this is incredibly frustrating. I want my money back or 3 free months, I would like to try you product as i see good reviews but this is horrible customer service
Terrible software and even more terrible customer service. I cancelled my subscription on time within 7 days free trial period, but then I was charged 35 USD for no reason. First customer support confirmed I am right, when I ask to refund me the money, another person says I should have asked within 48 hours as per refund policy. But according to the refund policy, I’m supposed to be subscribed to the plan, BUT I WAS NOT!!! Now, I have to discuss back and forth with them with no result. “I’ve been a loyal Legacy member of Descript, but my recent experience with customer support has been deeply frustrating. I encountered an issue accessing my SquadCast account after my Google account was deleted, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it, I received no effective solution. The responses from support were repetitive and unhelpful, suggesting basic troubleshooting steps like using incognito mode or different browsers, which did not work. Fantastic editor but the company lacks transparency about what is possible on each plan (in my case, file size upload limits). The limitations are hidden. You'll quickly realise that you'll need to upgrade your plan to do anything useful. The hobbyist description suits all of my needs however hidden limitations have forced me into a higher plan. Transparency is the most important thing for me as a consumer and Descript just don't get this right.
