Sehr schlechtes Hotel, kein Service, noch nicht mal einen Kaffee bekommt man hier. Sehr schlechtes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis. Ich verstehe die guten bis sehr guten TripAdvisor Bewertungen nicht, aber die sind ja zum Teil auch schon sehr alt und nicht zahlreich. Es gibt hier keine Möglichkeit etwas zu Essen oder zu Trinken zu bekommen. Wir hätten Dinner haben können, aber die Küchenkraft fühlte sich "nicht so gut" . Wo gibt es so etwas? We stayed one night here on our two week trip around Nova Scotia. Barney Anna & Robyn looked after us very well and we were made to feel like family. We had a lovely room and enjoyed the whole stay immensely. Thanks to the whole team at Des Barres for a memorable experience
Visiting from Ontario, A Father/Son trip to Nova Scotia! We stayed at Distillery House but booked a dinner here for our last night. From the welcome at arrival to our departure we were made to feel like family. Bonnie and Anne were amazing as was the meal! So many unique tastes from appetizer to desert! A wonderful dining room too! Highly recommend a visit!
We weren't guest but did dine in for supper one evening. Highly recommended , short menu but everything we ordered was delicious. Service and ambience is great.
I have come here a few times with my family and it’s always a lovely experience. Rooms could use some updating, but otherwise it’s a beautiful place with some of the friendliest staff I have ever met. The food is incredible too! Do not hesitate to stay here if you’re reading this.
