I'm a landlord and use Bangor Home Rentals as my property management company now that I live out of state. From a landlord perspective, they have been great to work with. They communicate with me if there are issues with the building. They have found great tenants and overall I'm very happy with the service that I receive from them. My building is furnished mid-term rental so I am also unique in what I offer and many of the other property management companies in the area did not want to work with that type of rental.
2/8/26 update.. the tenents are STILL USING and now are blocking the part of the driveway in question.. the driveway YOU keep insisting you have instructed them not to use... now someone who doesnt live there is parked in front of their door so nobody can drive thru on said shared driveway.....I guess I will gave them towed per your email..For the record, the tenants STILL use said portion of the driveway as their main entrance, just like they always have... they also continue to park their vehicle on said part of the shared... read more
Folks at this company are friendly and get things done. I have rented a property managed by Bangor Home Rentals for close to a year, and this has been my best rental experience in Maine. They take care of maintenance requests quickly and are present in managing the properties. I am so thankful to have a living situation where I am not at the mercy of a landlord who has not thought to put aside money for maintance or issues that arise.
For the record, the tenants STILL use said portion of the driveway as their main entrance, just like they always have... they also continue to park their vehicle on said part of the shared driveway often blocking all access to said driveway they "no longer maintain" because their tenants were instructed not to use it per their reaponse in this review................***UPDATE to their "reply" the driveway ownership is literally split in half down the middle, soo im not sure how they plan on only maintaining their part.. also ... read more
