Caring and professional, I've been going to him for years and have never had any problems with his work. His hygienist is excellent! I have moved from the area, but I travel 3 hours for her professional and caring service.

I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Derwin and his staff. My situation was well explained. I have great confidence with his honesty and thoroughness.
Recommended a procedure that would not work. His office staff charged me for a visit to write a script even after he had done an examination the day before.
I broke lost a crown, while biting on a cranberry seed. Who knew cranberries had seeds? I was visiting Florida. I was recommended to Dr. Derwin. He immediately told me he could reuse the crown, saving me a great deal of money. He and his staff were very professional and friendly. I am a RN, I recognized a bright Doctor, a clean office, and a good staff. Doctor Kerwin and his staff made me feel at home. His work was great, and everything is good. I would highly recommend him.
Very unprofessional. Will not stand behind his work. Causes more problems so that he can reap a higher wage.

You could not be further from the truth. Dr Derwin ALWAYS stands behind his work...... are you sure you are not getting Marco ISLAND Dental Care mixed up with Marco Dental Care. This sounds like their MO

He is friendly and caring. Billing is another matter. I was threatened with collection before my insurance company was even billed (they claim they take this insurance). Then, I was told the insurance had already paid and sent the check to me and I had cashed it. THAT WAS ONE MONTH BEFORE THE WORK WAS EVEN DONE!!!
