DeRuiter was able to check out my car last minute while other places in town were booking two weeks out. He also gave me suggestions about another issue I had been having for months when shifting gears. I had already taken it to another shop and the problem still wasn’t solved, but his recommendation helped us fix it at home. I would not have figured out the issue without his advice. My now go to place if we can’t fix the issue ourselves.

DeRuiter forgot to plug 2 things back into the engine after working on it causing the car to be difficult to start until I found the issue. And the next mechanic said the plug wells were still filling with oil leaking from the valve cover gasket and plug seals, which is the job DeRuiter was supposed to have done. Friendly service, but didn't do the job correctly.
