After a long and stressful new home build, we had a big plumbing issue to fix in our primary shower. I updated my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. The change was only because of a top-down decision about how to finish the plumbing repair. For two days, the crew worked extremely hard to reach the damaged pipe and remove and replace it. On the first day, three men handled a major drain line repair that required cutting a large section of concrete slab inside our home, digging several feet both inside and outside, and replacing about 10 feet of broken sewer line that had failed in two spots. My original review showed 2 stars by mistake, but this should be a 5-star review for Derrick & Sons Plumbing. I was referred by someone I know, and I usually trust referrals, but this plumbing service went even better than I expected. Ian arrived on time in a service van, asked a few important questions, checked the cleanout, ran the drain snake, and quickly got the line flowing again. Best experience i ve had with a plumber. Derrick & Sons Plumbing was professional, thoughtful, and courteous from start to finish. brett went out of his way to explain what was happening, what the next steps were, and when everything would be completed. He also took extra care to keep our home clean and made sure our cats did not get out while the work was being done.
