I have been to many a dermatologist who does a quick look at my skin that takes a couple of minutes. What a contrast to what you get at Dermscreen. Not only do they take high resolution image of your entire body but they spent about 45 minutes looking at and photographing every mole, blemish and potential skin area of interest. Excellent, up to date technology. A compassionate, thoughtful physician.
The scan is very easy but you don’t actually see a dermatologist. You only get a summary report that doesn’t fill you with confidence that everything is ok I wouldn’t do this again. I’d book where someone actually looks at you in person and gives you peace of mind that everything is okay.
I went just to fast track a review on a couple of moles that had grown, but the process was way more valuable than just that. Everyone should do this, thorough and professional. I realise how many skin areas have never been reviewed by medically trained eyes, highly recommend this balanced mix of technology and manual screen.
