A good medical group spoiled by a merger. I'm caller number 15 waiting to check on an appointment, Not going to waste my time.
What happened? I went to Atlantic Dermatology 3 yrs ago and they were beyond great. I recommended them to friends...I went today and they are now a machine. When you make an appointment you have to go thru a maze of a menu and end up talking to someone from TX?? I live in NC. I waited nearly an hour for my 4 minute appointment. Dr. Crane is great. He's a wonderful doctor and very personable to boot. However, the experience of dealing with this new company Derm One is horrible. You can no longer just call them even though they are blocks from your house, you must call a call center in Texas I believe it is. When you do call this call center they obviously know nothing about you and they don't care. Speaking to a representative you get the impression no-one is happy. Dr. Crane is the absolute best! Technically he is tremendous, but even more important is a clear demonstration with every visit that at his core is an undeniable commitment to the health and welfare of his patients.
