Completely ignored and abandoned me once insurance denied my prescription. I know it’s not their fault, but it took them nearly a month to let me know this. I only found out because I called very frustrated with the lack of communication, and I then I finally get a call back from the receptionist, not my doctor, or person caring for my issue, telling me my claim is denied. Not a good dermatology office at all. My mom had an appointment in early August, and they said they sent her prescription to the pharmacy. However, the pharmacy never received it. When I called Karlene Dermatology to follow up, they claimed they didn’t know anything and had an attitude on the phone. The problem is we can’t get the medicine without their help since it’s a prescription, and they are refusing to assist. Very unprofessional—I would not recommend this place at all.
Brought my friend here for an appointment, staff and nurses were extremely rude and cocky to her.
I’m sure this establishment is just fine in treating patients for cosmetic procedures; but this practice is probably not for you if you need to be seen for something else. My experience today was incredibly frustrating and, frankly, borderline unprofessional. To some it up, shady is what my heart tells me. No prp there when I went, The workers there are tired of buying karlena expensive gifts for Christmas they said.
