This place sucks
I received two timely bills for procedures I had done. They were the lab that examined the biopsies, they were not my doctor. I had no issues. Sometimes your doctor will send biopsies out to be examined and, possibly, for a second verification of his results. Then people will be confused why they got a bill from someplace they never went. Check your online chart for medical procedures/results and usually you'll find that Dermatopathology is in the chain somewhere.
Seems like a scam, got a bill from them (July 2024) for a supposed procedure in July 2020. I've never had such a skin issue and never went to the doctor around that time. UPDATE: I messaged them asking for more information (ie the supposed doctor, where I had the procedure done, etc) and they sent me this: Please disregard this statement we have taken care of this. This is from a biopsy you had at your dermatology office on 7/22/2020 we was having an issue with your insurance processing your claim and they finally got it fix... read more
I, like many others, never recived a bill from this place, yet I recived a notice from a collections agency. When I called they they had me verify my adress and told me that they had been sending bills which is not true. Unacceptable.
