Do not call Derksen if you have a steam boiler issue. We hired them to diagnose and fix a banging radiator problem — a fairly common steam heating issue. The technician who showed up clearly had no idea what he was dealing with. He wandered around, offered no confident diagnosis, and after two hours of hiding in the basement suggested realigning pipe angles. When he was ready to leave, the banging was still there. Roads are pure ice today and you've got a company truck speeding and agressively weaving in and out of traffic on Dugald at 4pm. Can't even trust their employees to drive safely while in a branded truck, wouldn't trust them with my home.
Il start out by saying that the plumber was very professional and did a great job on the plumbing repair in my house. The manager however was unprofessional and rude. I had a few questions about my surprisingly high invoice after the work that was completed and received a rude email from him. I was told if I was not happy with the price that he would gladly charge me more.
