When I had my initial intake call with Dr. Derflinger, I was looking forward to working with him since he claimed to have trauma and domestic violence experience. However, after my first session, I quickly regretted reaching out to him. I shared context about my story but was told shortly after sharing my experience that he was not himself and that he potentially was not a good fit.
