Derek is an amazing osteopath! He has helped our family maintain the best possible body alignment. He takes his time with our 2 young kids, making them feel comfortable and relaxed. He even took extra time showing our kids a cool app he has of how the human body works, they were stoked! We have only great things to say about Derek in our home:)
Please do yourself a favor and give Derek a visit! He will listen and use his knowledge of the human body to leave you feeling better than when you first met him. I've battled chronic lower back and hip pain due to years of contact sports and consistent weight lifting. Derek was able to zero in on the issues I was having and provide me with the much-needed relief and advice that would help me identify my path to healing. When I saw Derek for the first time I had no idea what an Osteopath even was. He was very welcoming and kind and he explained his methods before we got started. Derek is a true pro! I am an active outdoor enthusiast and painting contractor, so my body always needs some help. Although I have also used massage & physiotherapy, Derek's treatments were great to help fix the issues in ways the other treatments didn't, such as resetting certain posture positions in my hands from painting and a kinked spine from heavy lifting and impact from sports. I had surgery on my foot this spring and wanted to get back to normal as soon as possible. My neighbour told me how Derek had helped her so I felt it might help me out as well. I made three visit with Derek each time feeling a little bit better. Derek gave me exercise that were simple and pain free to do . Also recommended toe guards for straightening out my toes. I feel I’m on track for a better recoup time my surgeon told me it could be as long as 2 years but now feel I can shorten that time up considerably. Thanks Derek
