I've been to Dere Auto twice now: once for brake inspection/replacement and once for overall vehicle check before a road trip (they ended up replacing a wheel bearing that was making noise and could have become an issue on a longer trip). I really trust their assessment of issues - they'll let you know what's truly urgent and what to be aware of that might be an issue down the road. Very responsive, communicative, and reasonable prices too.
I love Dere Auto. I trust Lee so much that I don’t go anywhere else. I moved away from West Seattle but I still come here for all car needs. They are reasonable and honest.
