Hike in is amazing. Watch for the tides, you can only hike to the cabin during low tides of - 3ft or lower. Cabin is perfect distance to do day hiking through the Caines head trail system. Went in late October, wood burning stove kept cabin nice and warm. Did some late season dipping in the ocean!
Beautiful little cove with great access to trails and beaches in Caines Head. Accessible by kayak or a well timed hike. Fresh water available. Cabin has a wood stove and 2 bunks with full size beds. Pit latrine on site.
