Brandon? Who's Brandon? Brandon is easily the best server on the slopes! After a long morning of runs, his energy was exactly what we needed. He was fast, incredibly attentive, and made sure we were back out on the powder in no time. If you're stopping in for a break, definitely ask for him—he truly elevates the whole mountain experience!
Beautiful views and service was fine. The food was a bit average but you can’t beat the amazing location by the slopes. The quesadilla was ok for my tastes though my husband was happy. Did enjoy the truffle fries though they were heavy on the salt, and I’m someone who loves salt. Excellent people watching!
This is a hard review to write and I've debated it several times but as we head into the holidays, if you're looking for a place to hang out while the kids/family ski and snowboarding, this is for you. We are a family of 6 traveling with a family of 5 to ski/snowboard for Christmas. We spent 3 days at Winter Park which is just the perfect place for families of all different skill levels in skiing and snowboarding. I'm talking Mary Jane down to bunny slopes. Derailed bar is the best when Marvin and Jordan are bartending ! They need a raise, they are awesome!!!
Let me paint you a picture of culinary despair. This place manages to fail on every level. The service was abysmal – our waiter looked like he'd rather be anywhere else, and getting his attention was like trying to summon a ghost. The atmosphere? The floors were like you were ice skating, it smelt like dust and old shoes. Then there's the food. It's an insult to the very concept of cuisine. Bland, poorly prepared, and overpriced.
