The boat ramp is in need of repairs but it is possible to launch with a trailer, preferably at higher tides. This beach is frequently used by divers and some kayakers. Most days the commercial operator that does jet ski tours in Prince William Sound is at this beach. I prefer to use the nearby Lu Young beach to launch a kayak since it is generally less busy.
