So far, I've had a great experience here. The vet is knowledgeable and explains things in detail as needed which is perfect. All the staff is friendly and I've never had to wait too long for an appointment.
I was reluctant to make a review. This lady had us really questioning if she is a good veterinarian just with maybe a regulator type personality or not. We brought 2 cats in and she told us one had a faint heart murmur and would need a special appointment to make sure (she doesn’t drop dead (her words exactly) during the spay procedure) it was to cost up to 2400$ just for that. when we took our cat back in for this appointment out of complete fear. This is the best vet hospital in Nanaimo in my experience. I wish I'd found it sooner. The staff are friendly and efficient, there are no long waits for appointments, and Dr Brown does just what's needed without pushing for extra treatment. Charges are very reasonable.
