After replacing an ebt food stamps card today in Lakewood, WA., DSHS due to a total amount hacked, we were sent to window 8 if the dead money will be reimbursed. Lady staff said no and while she explained that no money will come in either in November, her info vs online WA ebt info and 1888 ebt info dont match. No money and decrease funds are two different things. The city needs competent workers.
Absolutely worthless. When I didn’t have a job they only gave me $12 for food assistance because I didn’t have a job. When I was finally able to get a part time job, they said I made to much money. So now I have no assistance and have to figure out how to feed my kid and make rent.
Case managers and work first employees are only available until 2pm. I think the staff is friendly and helpful. I like this location because I don't ever have to wait in line.
I'm glad i checked reviews while I was on hold. Was on hold for 30 min then spoke to a real person who said he would direct my call to the right department then was on hold for an additional 2 hours.. checked reviews and saw people were being disconnected after 3-4 hours. HUGE waste of time. I will just go into their office tomorrow I guess.
