Dr. Powers is absolutely an extraordinary human being as well as an outstanding surgeon. I have a severe lower back problem caused by many years ago injury . I have tried to live with pain and suffering for years and years and the neuro surgeon that I was seeing did not told me my real problem . I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Powers. Took 4 weeks to hear from his staff for results of x-rays and get a referral. I met with Dr. Powers for a second opinion, after my first neurosurgeon recommended surgery. Dr. Powers listened and ordered x-rays and told me he didn't think I needed surgery, but he would let me know once he saw the x-rays. I got the x-rays, and it is 4 weeks later, and I still haven't heard the results of my x-rays. I've called many times, was told twice that the x-rays had been read and someone would call me.
