This is regarding clerical staff, not the medical team, as I have never been able to schedule. It is a good thing i’m not critically ill or i’d be in trouble. I got a referral here in 2025 for an acute neurosurgical issue. Unfortunately, they were so understaffed that it took a over two months for the referral to get processed and get a callback to schedule, so I had to get surgery elsewhere and was post-op by the time they finally called back. Very professional staff great doctors.
This was our first appointment with Dr Friedman (and doing a Transfer of Care from our previous neurologist). I was nervous and hopeful beforehand, needing to explain seizure histories for both of my sons. His nurse Sage set such a positive tone from the git-go, it eased my worries right off! She was courteous and friendly with my twin sons (the patients). Equal parts professional, and soothing. Just wonderful. Dr Friedman entered momentarily next, and had a medical student with him.
