its been since March that I've been asking questions about my child support case with absolutely NO HELP. I have child support coming out of my paycheck each week but it just goes into an account my daughter mom cant access cause they STILL havent given any guidance. I have had an incredibly frustrating experience with the San Diego Department of Child Support Services. They are nearly impossible to get ahold of, and when you do reach someone, it is clear that basic procedures and documentation requirements are not well understood by their caseworkers. I called my case worker, after being bounced between case workers for years, and their outgoing message says they’ll return my call within 48 hours. It has now been 1week since my call and she hasn’t returned my call. My current case worker is Arlene Flores. This is an important call because, I’m finally able to close my case and I want to start the process. I can’t do this if she doesn’t call me. I’d give a “0” if I could so they get 1 star.

I honestly believe somebody is embezzling $ off of us parents. This is the 2nd time there’s been a pretty big error in payments. The math is not adding up on this at all and their loophole is to tell you “no back support is owed and the case is current and the parent has until the end of the month to make the payment.” Guess what!?
