8/6/25: I meant to update this review but since I wrote this I had the absolute best experience with Duhey (Dewey) not sure I spelled his name right but he is the absolute best person that has ever helped me in all my years dealing with child support services. He definitely gets a review. DCSS is a joke!! I haven't received payments in a long time and if you call to ask what's going on, they all say well they (other parents employer) have until the end of the month to meet their obligation. Very unprofessional and a waste of California Tax Payers Money. Told me directly that DCSS is not here to HELP ME! Talk about Defund the Police!
One has to wonder if the organization is corrupt or simply incompetent. My ENTIRE BANK ACCOUNT was captured due to the fact that I have missed payments. I asked for some of the money to be released back to me due the hardship of suddenly being broke and unable to pay bills and rent. They made a decision to return two thousand dollars to me but it never happened! I ended up calling to ask what court I am supposed to go because when I went to the child support department they said that they can’t do nothing unless the other party returns the packet listing his income. And the person that I spoke to said that I have an opened case and that they’re giving me the wrong information and to go back and ask to speak to the supervisor.
