Do not buy a membership at The Denver Tool Library. My wife purchased me a gift membership at the Library, after which I went to their location and redeemed the gift. I subsequently took their safety course, a welding class, and a woodworking class. They were happy to take my money for each class, and I donated a Porter cable sander to the Library. What a fantastic resource this place is, staffed by incredibly generous and skilled people. I had quite an extensive and challenging project: building a complex wheelchair ramp and shower platform for my new apartment. The project required several difficult cuts — two side rails at precise angles and a full-length bevel rip of a 2×12 — all accurate to within 1/8”. I took the intro woodworking class and loved it! Very practical, hands on class and the instructor, Ian, did a great job of explaining the tools, how & when to use them and more. I will definitely be back.
