Closed at 4 when online clearly shows 430 wasted my time driving all the way down here
They tried to steal my wire when I asked for it back and then the employees tried to haggle with me offering 100$ for 300$ worth of copper. Also the payout was bare minimum 1.76 for 1awg insulated 50pounds and 250kcmil copper 30 pounds, they offered 120$ for all of it
This is not a 5 star review, Im putting it as one so it shows up because I wasnt able to see the warnings before I went. I know for a fact I had almost 2x the weight of bare bright copper than they wrote on the ticket, they dont weigh it in front of you, and have bulletproof glass everywhere they can put it- I have a feeling they regularly deal with furious customers due to their malicious and downright fraudulent practices. Go to Action or Ivy St and don't get scammed.
This place takes advantage of the fact that they are the only recycling facility open on Sundays by paying you less than half of what any other place would. If you don’t need the money quickly and can wait till Monday, I would recommend waiting and going elsewhere,….unless you like getting ripped off.
