Passing through Denver for the New Year, my girlfriend and I wanted to do something special on NYE and find this event. It seemed like a well organized and lavish affair, but was more of a crowded costume party with poorly executed access to cocktails and several inexperienced bar and service staff. What a rip-off. We paid about $300 for VIP tickets which only includes entry. They oversold the event so long lines for "drink tickets" and basically nowhere to sit and rest. Another $70 spent on two plastic glasses of champagne. VIP area is open to everyone, so no reason to buy VIP tickets, what a scam! Balloons didn't drop at midnight which was a microcosm of the overall night. Worse NYE experience I've had in years and will absolutely not be attending next year. Very disappointed with how this event turned out. The venue was over crowded. Spent the entire evening waiting in lines. Very disorganized as well. Tried to ask staff how to get drink tickets and no one knew. Paid for VIP ticket which is not helpful if you have to spend the night in lines or packed in like a sardine.
