If you’re going to break something, this is the place to go. I was brought here after breaking my wrist. They were efficient and thorough and I was out in about 2 hours. They reset my wrist so well that my surgeon gave me the option of getting surgery or not. My orthopedic follow up proved that they handled my injury well.
We went to the DH Winter Park Medical Center on December 31st because our 4 year old was sick and lethargic. They treated us very well and were so kind. Everyone we talked to was very helpful and they were able to get my son everything he needed. Several employees even helped me carry gear out to our car to load up. Thank you!
This place is terrible, avoid at all costs. I specifically asked if they were in my network before I received care, and they looked up my insurance and said it would be charged as an urgent care visit which would be $50. They then billed me over $800 for an X-Ray. This place is a joke they claim they are urgent care but the proceed to bill as a hospital visit. Broken Misaligned Clavicle, staff repeatedly told me I’m fine and don’t need surgery? Really!? Are any of you Orthopedic Surgeons? The XRay was obvious. I had surgery last Tuesday. I guess there is only so many people willing to work in winter park that your staffing options must be limited. Staff also became rude and dismissive once I requested to leave asap.
