Hard Pass on Denver Deck Wanna be Builders 6 or 7 of the deck boards were badly scratched. I requested they be replaced and was met with excuses and arguments. Shane replaced one, I had to argue to get one more replaced. Our new deck is still covered in scratches. "That's how we get them from our supplier" The main beam support running the length of the deck is crooked. There is significant gap between the posts and this beam. Shane put metal shims to take up the gap but they just slide out. This will warp and bend over time... read more
Deck is racking to the side and one post is about 1 inch out of plumb on an ~8 foot post and only a few years old. They attempted a repair last year and it didn't fix the issue and its still moving. I emailed one of their management direct and their response started with "stop emailing me" My complaint is their response, they could have taken 30 more seconds and written a professional reply. Denver Deck Builders did an amazing job start to finish. Cody put together a great proposal for our new deck, didn't try to oversell us yet designed something that will last for decades. Peter did such a great job coordinating the project--- every milestone was hit on schedule without a hiccup. Carson and his team did an incredible job building the deck--- their work is flawless.
