Staff is so sweet! My dog passed early january of 2026 and I chose to have her cremated. She was a small dog so cremation was about $200, I also chose to get nose and paw prints for an extra $20. They were very compassionate which was important to me as I was dealing with the shock of grief. They called me to let me know her remains were ready for pickup about 2 weeks later and again very sweet. I’m happy with the front desk customer support and services at this location. I can’t say enough good about this place. First of all, we’ve had a horrible ice storm and their staff was there and so nice friendly when every other veterinarian was closed. I took my little 14 year old chihuahua there today because she had something wrong with her mouth. They got me in right away and I saw the doctor shortly there after. Ended up having a molar that was causing the issue. All the staff was so sweet and caring so I felt so much better.
My 3 yo cat got very sick and we took him to DCAER and they were wonderful! Compassionate and acted with a sense of urgency. They took their time explaining the course of action they were going to take and kept us updated every step of the way! Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our baby but they were with me to help make it as easy as possible! This place is the best!
Our animal rescue (Humane Tomorrow) has used Denton County Animal ER for years and love our partnership with them! They take amazing care of the animals!
