I came for a cleaning and TMJ Botox treatment. The cleaning went smoothly. However, after finishing one side of the TMJ injections, I sensed the deeper layers of the masseter were being avoided, I asked the dentist to treat the deep layers of the masseter. I had a specific, urgent medical problem and my doctor wanted to see the kind of x-ray that dentists typically take. This was a non-standard request and many other dentists were confused and wouldn’t take me but Dental Studio SF saw me the next day. Dr Wu understood the problem and was attentive, kind and patient as I used my assistive talking app because I couldn’t talk that well. There was some complexity with billing medical vs dental insurance so they ended up waiving part of the fee which was very kind of them.

I used to love Dental Studio and have been a patient since 2016. It seems they have had significant turnover recently and have gone far downhill. I got X-rays taken and had a check-up six weeks ago and typically see the dentist while I am there. It turned out there were no dentists onsite that day, and they said the dentist would call me back with the X-ray results. I recently visited this office for a teeth whitening procedure and had an excellent experience. Angelica at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and communicated everything thoroughly. Jessica, who performed most of the procedure, was knowledgeable, reassuring, and efficient. Bianca provided friendly assistance throughout, and Dr. Wu demonstrated professionalism, competence, and expertise.
