Dr. Hammond is by far the best dentist I’ve encountered in my life. The entire staff is amazing, they are always so kind and helpful. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now because of everyone there. I highly recommend the Dental Group of Jefferson!
Dr. Hammond and his staff are truly compassionate and professional. My husband was in a lot of pain before a scheduled tooth extraction, and the team was quick to help with prescriptions to manage the pain and infection. When I went to pick them up, Dr. Hammond took the time to understand the situation and went above and beyond to make sure my husband got the care he needed. Dr. Hammond is the best dentist I have ever been to. He highly skilled, super gentle. His staff are top notch also! The hygienist (Sara) is super detailed and thorough, I wouldn't go enywhere else.
Update: I have never been treated more rudely on the phone than I was by Lisa when I asked for my dental records. She was short, condescending, and did everything she could to avoid providing me my own records. I am so glad we switched. I recommend anyone else who is thinking about it does, as well. It's my opinion that their pricing model is everything wrong with our insurance/medical billing system in the US. It's my opinion that their pricing model is everything wrong with our insurance/medical billing system in the US. Cleanings, X-rays, and fluoride were free at my previous "out of network" provider in Andover, Ohio, but cost over $50 here, per child. If this place were in-network, I believe the company would surely check them on their overcharging, but they're not. What an absolute shame that our system is as corrupt as it has become and a small town dentistry like this is all too willing to be complicit in it.
