Long wait time (60 min) when there are no other patients! Most work is referred out because the dentist only does minimal...so it's not worth the wait to just go to another dentist and redo x-rays and exam. Plus, after going to the referred dentist, they disagreed with this dentist's recommended tx! The dentist said fluoride was a vitamin! I just can't. I had a horrible experience here, with the assistant as well as the dentist. I've never been treated so badly at a dentist. The assistant refused to speak to me except to issue orders. She was abrupt and....angry? The dentist wasn't much better. It felt like she was shaming me for having so many cavities (I had a gastric hiatal hernia and the reflux damaged my lower teeth)The whole office seemed to be in a bad mood over something, but taking it out on patients is wrong! The dentist does incredibly sloppy work. I had two fillings done within a month. The first one was left very rough. When I went in for the second one, I asked her to fix the first one and she did. But the second filling was even worse! It felt like clumpy sandpaper all over my tooth! I ended up paying out of pocket for a different dentist to fix it. I will not be returning to Adventist. The receptionist is nice, but they are incredibly difficult to actually get on the phone.
