This is my experience. Yours may differ. I needed a new dentist because my old dentist (shout out to Dr's. Roman in Hackensack) stopped accepting my insurance. I loved both Dr. Roman's. They were knowledgeable, kind, and all around awesome. It was they who told me that I needed to get braces and after my braces, I needed to discuss getting implants. Ok. Kewl.
