Went in the other day with my kids. 1st off it was just as warm inside than it was outside. Waitress hardly came around. Didnt even have sweet tea made in middle of day. Food took forever to come our way. Asked for medium rare steak, that was the most well done and unseasoned steak I've ever tasted. Steak made it out before my salad and bread even did.. then took another 10 mins just to be able to ask for a1 sauce. Definitely not the best Dennys I've been to. Moons over my hammy was all egg no ham (well had a piece of ham). Mozzillas were really good. Mac skillet all cheese no Mac BBQ sauce was the only flavor. Hash browns weren't cooked tasted like plastic same texture maybe they were recycling bottles to cut cost 🤔. Waitress spilled a drink on my kid and his switch ( maybe he shouldn't have been playing games at dinner but it's Dennys let's be honest). You don’t go to Denny’s expecting fine dining. You go for the reliable mediocrity: rubbery eggs, bottomless coffee, and the faint aroma of broken dreams. What you really don’t expect is management treating the dining room like their private call center.
