Dr. Dennis Holmes is an excellent surgeon. I was feeling extremely depressed after my BC diagnosis. He killed the cancerous tumor via cryoablation. A previous surgeon had wanted me to do a double mastectomy even though there was only unifocal carcinoma. This was the darkest time in my life. She was very pushy and not supportive. Biggest thing I liked about Dr. Holmes is when he asked, "What are your thoughts on?" He's not speaking AT YOU like a child. He is speaking WITH YOU. This doctor 's professionalism and care are unique! I recommend him. He knows his business. He is looking for the best options for his patients. He got me in the right parh to handle my body. Also his staff are a pleasure to work with, they are persistent and are looking for the best for their patients They even go as far as given full instructions, easy to understand write-up ups so one can fully duplicate what is going to happen in the surgery and had a glossary as well. Dr. Holmes is amazing. He does all his research and makes sure he studies everything about your case. He is extremely thorough. I had a lumpectomy in December of 2023. I knew I was in good hands. Everything went very smoothly and I only have the tiniest dent that is barely noticeable when I raise my arm up. All my sensation is there and I am so grateful to him. Before going to Dr. Holmes, I went to another breast surgeon who, unfortunately, did not successfully complete an initial cryoablation procedure for me. After scheduling with Dr. Holmes, he performed a new cryoablation procedure (having to redo what the other surgeon did) and it was successful. Since then, my imaging reports and lab work have come back great, and I have not had any issues.
