I stumbled upon this antique store by accident touring through the area. I was happy it was open on a week day and it was easy to find after a Google search. We walked in and the owner introduced himself. A very kind and gentle man. These kind of stores are rare and hard to find… old school stores with a single proprietor with a point of view . Knowledgeable, readily available and honest! Dennis Holzman is my go to authority on vintage artwork, jewelry and miscellaneous antiques. The selections of framed paintings, jewelry and other antiques is amazingly broad. Every piece in his shop is a quality item. He both buys and sells antiques/vintage pieces, so his shop is definitely my go to place for advice, appraisals, sales of precious metals/gems (including silverware), artwork and unique gifts. Dennis is one of the most respected and loved antiques dealer in the capital district. For good reason. If you are buying, he has a shop filled with wonderful things at very decent prices. If you are a seller, no one is more fair than Dennis Holzman. On top of all that, he's a great guy. Humble, smart, curious, funny and nice.
