I visited Dennis Auto to have a broken door handle repaired; however, the repair failed a few weeks later. I dropped it off earlier this Friday, and they called me a few hours later telling me the price. I had an unfortunate phone call regarding his hourly rate, where he claimed that the standard rate in Edna is $150/hour and $180/hour in Victoria. There aren’t enough words to explain my gratitude to Dennis. Thanksgiving, my son and I were headed to Katy, returning from our holiday in Rockport. The battery in my car started dimming headlights and turned off interior lights before it eventually died on us. We were able to drift off of 69 to a safe place. I believe Vernon (his brother-in-law) stopped to help us first. He then called Dennis, who just so happened to be a mechanic. He drove 7 miles back into Edna then 7 miles back to us with a battery.
