I had a question outside of office hours about whether a situation I was experiencing was emergent, and Dr. Meckler was the on call doctor who returned the call. When Dr. Meckler called me back, she was extremely abrasive and dismissive. She belittled my concerns and acted like I was both stupid for possibly thinking my concern warranted an after hours call and that my concern couldn't possibly be valid. One of the most unprofessional and inappropriate doctors I've ever had the misfortune of seeing. Someone who thinks that cohabitating with a committed partner is "living in sin" should not become an obgyn. The audacity of saying that, while examining me! Shame on you, Dr. Meckler. I can hardly believe you still have a medical license and you absolutely should not be continuing to see patients. First, do no harm. A doctor should never impose their own outdated ideology onto their patients.
