This particular location may be worthy of 4-5 stars for their service, but I wasn’t able to get in on short notice for a simple haircut and beard trim. This is not a traditional barber shop where you can walk in, or sit and wait for an appointment, and more of a salon that requires appointments. I came in at 11:30 on my lunch break, and was told that something is available at 12:30, or later today. As someone who is very particular about my hair, I can confidently say that the Salon side of Denim and Smith Barbershops University District have done a truly great service for me and has left me feeling fantastic every time I leave. After moving and getting my hair butchered in Fort McMurray and various places, I will be waiting till my next flight down to Calgary to go here that’s how grateful I am. I go to see Felicia and she knows my hair very well, I have never had a bad experience she is also personable and friendly. ... read more
