What a Fantastic Find We found The Perch by accident on our drive up to Fairbanks for business. We were awed when we walked in. The place is beautiful. It has selections of wine in racks throughout the dining room, each table was set beautifully, the menu was fantastic, and the view was great.. My business associate had the King Crab dinner. I enjoyed the Caribou Filets. She had a nice Pinot Grigio, I had an Alaskan Amber beer. The service was first class, the menu had a variety of truly Alaskan offerings, and the restaurant was just beautiful. I recommend to anyone traveling through or staying in Denali or Healy- it's worth the drive to go to The Perch!

This place was the perfect Alaskan getaway. Its close to Denali National Park, but far enough away you don't have to hear and see the giant travel industry that is the park entrance. My cabin sat right next to Carlo Creek and it was splendid. The restaurant was amazing, it was a classic lodge feel and had the best view of Denali National Park out of any place there, besides going into the park itself. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for budget accommodations, great food and peace and quite.
