Mr. Kim has serviced my elderly mother's car for many years. He has always REPAIRED ONLY WHAT WAS NECESSARY, and, unlike some repair shops, never took advantage of her advanced age and diminished acuity. He took care of her car as if it were his own mother's, and, his prices were/are more than fair. Mom recently passed away, so we traveled from NY to IL to start settling her affairs. Service are getting worse since a year ago. Engine oil kept overfilled, forgot to put back the transmission oil stick ( I found out after a few weeks!), forgot to put the windshield fluid reservoir cap back and then lost the cap the other time. Used to be very good shop.

My daughter just moved to Chicago and had tire problems in which the rear tires had flat spots. I was told by 2 different shops that the suspenion needed to be replaced. I called Dempster and talked to the owner, Richard. He said he would check it out and afterwards told me the suspension was fine but the rear axle needed alignment. I'm in Missouri and we don't know anyone in the Chicago area so I was nervous about sending my daughter to anyone for car repairs.
