Food, especially the sweet potato fries, was great. Unfortunately, we saw the server to take the order, drop off the food (ignoring the requests for soda and water refills, and more than one little container of ranch for a $14 basket of fries), then dropping off the check while he stood there watching how much he was tipped. I still tipped 18% as it was slow and I know everyone has rent to pay. I've been visiting Lawrence for work going on 15 years now. A former employee recommended this place when I asked where to grab a good burger. Well, life happens but I finally got around to stopping by. Pros: Food was decent. Typical bar fare. Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was not exactly screaming, "This is the place to be". Best Burger in Lawrence! This little place has a great vibe and friendly staff. It's a block off Mass - and that is a good thing! We found parking right out front. If you like off the beaten path with a great vibe - this is your place!
Definitely will be back.
