If you want a nice sandy beach - don't go here. While there were not many people on the beach on the day we went, there was little to no sand at all. The park does have nice picnic areas which were being used by many people.
Sadly it has become a rock beach, no sand to be found. And extremely expensive to parking a non resident. Use to be great but not for families
Great place and very peaceful! Would love to go again.
Do not go at high tide. Softball size rocks are everywhere and there’s no where to relax at the beach.
