This is our second year and we have already been there twice this Year. My 5 yr old loved it. She really enjoys feeding the animals and the playgrounds. The fresh donuts are out of this world! The picture props, the decorative hay and the hay rides are great. The hay ride is pretty basic but does it purpose taking you up to the orchards, the kiddos like it. Def will keep coming.
I've been going to Demarest Farms for apple picking every year for over a decade, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. However, I feel like the parking situation has been getting worse and worse and something should probably be done about it. It used to be that if there was room in the lot, they'd let the next person in...and if not then you'd find parking on a side street somewhere. No strollers allowed on a beautiful Saturday?! That's absurd. Not much of a FAMILY establishment anymore huh?! I have a feeling a bunch of business will be lost. What a shame.
Great place to go apple picking..long line for hayride but went quick. So many props for pictures and the animals were great. Apple cider and donuts are the best. Love the store and yummy quiches.
I think it was a bit early for a good variety of ripe fruit. (9/11) The hayride was a bit lame...just bales up the center of a flatbed. But a cute way to get to the orchards. Cute animals in the non-petting zoo. Nice photo op props. Fun for people of all ages. Food bar had some nice choices. The potato pancakes contained way too much flour, and we're cold, though. The apple cider doughnuts were light, fluffy, and tasty.
