Just want to add here, all these months later, our freezer is still 100% operational and running smoothly. After the initial diagnostic, the technician was able to quickly order parts we needed, and come back to replace the motor as soon as the part arrived (a delay of several days only due to pandemic-related shipping/manufacturing delays).
