The reviews were spotty, so should've known something would go awry. They checked us in, put the hold on our card before telling us the pool was not in service. We are travelling for a sports event, and with kids, the pool was the whole purpose of booking this hotel. Now we have to scramble to find a new hotel, while the refund won't be processed for up to 7 business days. Book somewhere else.

At first glance, the hotel looks beautiful. Once you look closer, you’re going to be disappointed. Room with pool access had mold growing in the corner of the ceiling, a draft that was large enough to freeze liquid that was near it, the shower didn’t drain… DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Oh, and the hot tub was out of use (common for this hotel) and looked like it had toilet water in it. Pool needs chemicals and a deep cleaning of the tile. We will not be returning.

I use to travel quite a bit for Kalamazoo based company and we always stayed at Marriott properties, so when I come back to Kalamazoo to visit we try to stay at Marriott properties. This time we selected Delta Hotel and Conference on 11th Street because we have stayed there before but will not stay there again!!! Our room didn’t have any hot water, the pool was so cold that our grandson and us couldn’t swim because it was about 60 degrees, and the common areas and rooms were a less 60 degrees.
